Please help. Laggy subaru

Hi guys I've just bought my first subaru it's a turbo 2000 v plate. Really clean car but think I might have a problem as when I put the foot down it kinda dies before it goes. I put regular unleaded in it when I got it. Could this be the root of my problem? Or do you think it will be more. I checked for boost leek can't see anything. I'm currently running 1 bar of boost don't know much of the cars history, mods or maps also don't know much about subaru's so any help would be really appreciated

Thanks

Rikki

could be a fuel issue or could be something else, have you got a decent garage near you to look at it?

Not really mate our garage is a com and will blame anything other than the real fault. He also uses scrap yards for parts. I know I have an upgraded ihi turbo full stainless back decanted so this kind of suggests its had a remap or the ecu would make it run badly. What other things can cause this?

That's a lot to change with no results mate, let me know how you get on. I changed my fuel to super unleaded it seems to have a great pull when it's first heat up now, shit when cold like

Cheers rikki

simple,if your not sure about the impreza, take it to a specialist n get it plugged in and see whats going on,could be all manner of problems or it could just be an old fault code stored on the ECU flashing up..
