Re: odd problem

Well it shouldn't be hitting 1.1 bar standard,
Have you checked what size resistor pill is fitted ?

Re: odd problem

but why ? by moving it you may be getting false readings and the ecu is confused and is pulling timing

yeah I would fella,
Once you have done that do a ecu reset and then go for a drive, once your back check for any error codes.

Re: odd problem

i cant understand why i havnt had any engine management light or fault codes there is a defenate fault somewhere ive been told it could be cam sensor. it seems to pull ok in 1st cand 2nd but only at part throttle if im in a higher gear just before boost or if i put my foot down it judders but not like boost cut cos that chucks you about it isnt as violent

Re: odd problem

if it hits 1.1 bar it will be "holding back", the ecu doesnt like this and will be trying to protect your engine,
you need to whip the carpet up on the passenger side footwell, remove the 10mm bolts holding the cover and tell us what ECU you have,
from this we can tell you what boost your car should be running,
Then you need to check the restrictor pill size, as they have been replaced they may still be wrong for your year of car,

if it was the cam sensor I think it may have given you a error for that.

What gap did you set the plugs too. Have you changed your fuel filter recently.
