2005 sti oxygen sensor

Hi all,

i have posted a thread regarding this a while ago but I could do with a bit more advice on the situation.

i have a 2005 sti PPP which apart from an exhaust, panel filter and remap is standard.
A little while ago I had the cel light come on, so I checked the fault code and it turned out to be the O2 sensor.

so I reset the code and the light didn't come back on, so I thought maybe it was a bad batch of fuel.
anyway a few months down the line it came on again.
So again I checked the code and sure enough it was the O2 sensor.

This problem only seems to come every once in a while and it always seems to be when the car is driven at "higher"speeds.

the car is not driven daily as I tend to use my work van to run about in. It is more of a weekend car and sometimes doesn't get used every week.
maybe this has something to do with it I don't know.

any help or thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Re: 2005 sti oxygen sensor

Is it the front sensor ?
I used to get this at over 150 mph every so often, replaced sensor and all has been fine since.

Re: 2005 sti oxygen sensor

Fault code was p0130.

Is that the front?

What do you recommend to fix this? Change the sensor or do u think it could be something else.
Or is that unlikely as the car drives perfectly fine.
