Re: boost solinoid

the pill should be in the bottom pipe of the BS as you say, and it should be 2.0mm, this pipe should go back to the intake tract, typically on early cars it goes to the nipple that breaks off on the Res box.

Re: boost solinoid

Cheers I got the car an when I was at home was cleaning all the engine bay an noticed there should be a pipe there then lookin at receipts the was one for a restrictor because it was over boosting an when I fitted boost gauge other day idle it sits at 20vac and when u going an boot it, it will go to around 18 psi. Thought it was a bit high. Also should the vac be sitting at beetween 20-30?

did a test on this, a 2mm Allen key is bigger then 2mm drill, a 1.5mm Allen key is more like it.
