Unhappy Help! staling / idel problems! 1998 turbo

Hi guys
I need so major help I think this is a common problem but here goes
I have a 1998 impreza turbo just recently purchased,
when then engine warms up after 5 mins it develops idol problems when stopping or even when running , misfires also .
When I come to stop the RPM goes down to near zero and them sometimes stalls, took it to the local garage but the said its coming up with a maf sensor error , but iv already changed this and it didn't resolve the problem, also sometimes when it gets hot it has problems starting until it cools down again.
I have changed the plugs which were black , the lambda sensor , battery , I don't know where to go now , any advice for me ?
IT runs fine when its at turbo speed above like 3000 RPM but sometimes struggles to get up to that speed any advice would help me a lot thanks

did the ECU get reset after fitting the new parts,if not it will still be holding the error codes and thinks there is still a problem...do that and you should be fine

Re: Help! staling / idel problems! 1998 turbo

was it a cheap shitty factor 02 sensor fitter or a genuine,i fitted a cheap one to mine,it failed a week later, got a replacement, failed yet again, threw it back at the factors group n got refunded, genuine one bought from main stealer,no problems since...

also may be wise checking the coolant temp sensor,it thats failing or failed you will get the exact same issues as failed maf and 02..

got an original subaru one, i tihnk it might be down to the fuel pump as the wiring was dodgey , we found this out after the car would not start, so iv ordered another one havent a clue how hard they are to fit, car just cut out and would not rev after like 10 yards so im thinking its a fuel starvation problem
