near boost solenoid?

Hey guys, im trying to sort out where a whistle is coming from under the bonnet. It sounds like it could be one of the two solenoids near the boost solenoid?
I'm just trying to find out what they are? One has what looks to be a little plastic filter on the top which then leads into another solenoid. Both lead off the inlet manifold.

Cheers
