Re: WRX 1993 Fault 45

Sorry that's the picture of a MY97/98 from europe seems that is not the samething in japan. I have a JDM car. And I think that I've found the sensor but I don't know where to find a new one .

Re: WRX 1993 Fault 45

Hi and welcome to the site

Fault Code 45 is the pressure sensor like you said but it can also be the pressure exchange solenoid valve. Both are located on the offside turret, hopefully the pic below will help;

1. Pressure sensor (subaru part number 22012AA020)
2. Pressure exchange solenoid valve (Subaru part number 14774AA341)
3. Wastegate control solenoid valve (aka. boost solenoid)

The part numbers are printed on the sensor etc. The numbers I've supplied are off an early 96 JDM WRX

Hope that helps
