help with 1994/95 subaru impreza estate

Hi all hoping someone can help, I helped my brother change the clutch on his subaru after finishing it went to start his car but battery was flat. So took off the battery to charge it while charging the original battery my brother decided to put a doner battery on the car to make sure clutch was ok. The problem is the doner battery had four terminals on it and put it on the wrong way so the negative had the live on it and the live had the negative on it. He tried to start it but nothing happend obviously. Took donor battery off and put original battery back on when it had charged up and now have nothing only the hazzard lights work checked all fuses and all are ok someone has told me the ecu is probaly blown is this correct or could it be a problem with the immobiliser any help will be much appreciated thanks

Not good the Ecu also the alternator could be damaged or any other electrical parts that have semi conductor circuitry could try all fuses first and relays if they blown if it dont start after that could be the ecu

Look in fuse box under the bonnet, the big 80A fuse hopefully has gone.
