BHP Reader/Monitor

Hi i see on scoobyworld they sell the Vi Monitor which reads all kinds of engine data i really want somthink like this to read BHP so as i tune the car i can see if it made a difference has anyone used this or is there any other kinds of Monitors u could recomend i have a subaru impreza turbo 2000 on 1999 plate it says it works via the OBDII (also referred to as "OBD 2" or "OBD-2") port i think my cars got this

the bhp readings they give don't tend to be that accurate. guages showing oil temp, pressure, boost etc are much more important so you can keep an eye on the health of the engine. high oil temps for example can kill an engine

After speaking to scoobyworld they told me the vi monitor only works on the Newage Imprezas onwards i will be getting some gauges soon so which are most important

gauges by far, bhp tells you nothing all about how the cars running. a decent set of gauges set up correctly can be the difference between a blown and a noneblown engine

App for iphone will give rough dyno figures - dynolicious. Its not bad tbh.
