Do you really need a turbo timer? I have one and just never use it. I live in town (well, humungous city) so last few miles are always done off boost by necessity, plenty of time to warm down the engine before stopping. Unless you are hammering it right up to your doorstep, and then dashing straight into the house, then don't really see the need for them to be honest.

Re: Turbo Timer???????????

steady driving for last few miles is by far the best option to cool the car down, bearing in mind its not just the engine that gets hot, then why would you want rest of it just to sit there while it cools?

I do the same, last few miles off boost, high gear and low revs. Works a treat !
