ADVISE PLEASE..

Hi guys, i've been looking through the stuff that came with the car . I managed to find the code for the key under the spare wheel . Is this the code for the glove box key pad as well, or will this be another code ?.. I just want to be prepared just in case i need it at some point that's all. If its not the code how can i locate it ?.. I had to buy an owners manual cos there wasn't one with the car. Help please ?..

Re: ADVISE PLEASE..

the code pad in the glove box is the Sigma alarm system, code for that is normally found in the alarm instruction manual, can be used to activate the total closure, anti jacking device, chirping on entry, sequence of light flashes on arming and disarming

if you don't have the code, contact main dealer or Subaru UK,they should have the full list of which alarm is fitted to the car and the corresponding code numbers

Re: ADVISE PLEASE..

If its a sigma m30 alarm system. You should have two small self-adhesive labels with the 4-digit PIN code on them.

Re: ADVISE PLEASE..

Hi thanks for all your help guys.. i'll have a good look round the car tomorrow and see if i can find anything, i'll let you know when and how i find it .. I was reading some of the old posts about the maf sensor and thought i'd clean it. It was real mucky so i took it off and give it a good clean with carb cleaner and a few cotton buds .The mesh was black with small black bits on it. Oh and under the panel filter was a few leafs. I put it back together and what a difference !.. I also painted my calipers at weekend , look miles better now. I'll keep ye posted about the alarm.. Thanks Kerrie

Hi i only got 1 key with 2 alarm fobs, 1 of which was in bit's. So i didn't get a metal tag or alarm book or manual with the car. But thanks for your reply.

Re: ADVISE PLEASE..

Hi, i spoke to subaru at doncaster because there isn't one in hull . I explained that i was trying to locate my code for my alarm and he said that if the previous owner didn't have it i was well and truly stuffed . He said that there was no override code and i would have to buy a new alarm/ecu and this would cost 160 + vat fitted. Oh well at least i know now ..
