stereo

hi guys the stereo in my car has been bodged in i think by the previous owner all wires sliced and diced, problem is it loses its memory every time i take key out, also cant seem to get radio reception, and ow yeah my clock doesnt work is there a bulb in there ,? have checked all fuses under drivers footwell all good, any help appreciated guys

Download PDF Subaru | PDFTown.com should have a look at the wiring sect on this links page for the classic 97-98 and on the 4th page of the link they a wiring diagram for a 99 impreza id look at these manuals and match the wires to what goes where as the were botched already at least the wire diagrams should tell you what wire goes where or else take it to an auto electrician hope it helps

its simply a case of swapping lives over, you have a permanent live (mem live) and an ignition live (normally just marked as live)

if got a band expander on mine, slowly working out how to use the damned thing as its all in japanese, took me 7 days to relise its got a MD player, took me another 7 days to figure out how to eject the bloody thing. its a KENWOOD DPX-9000MJ Double Din Moterized Face

na mine is just a kenwood steroe like you would get from halfrauds,
