REPLACEMENT DOUBLE DIN

Ok thought i would share this day with you as i am very pissed off...

I bought TD702 7" Motorized Car DVD*Bluetooth*USB*SD*iPod Player on eBay, also DVD VCD Players, DVD Players Monitors, In-Car Entertainment GPS, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 27-Mar-09 23:30:00 GMT)

nice lookkin g unit did every thing i was looking for in a headunit and cheap to boot...

got it out the box looked even better if not a bit cheap on the back connections...

offered it up the the stereo surround on my06 wagon and it was too big.. not by miles but enough... i got a dremmil for christmas and butchard the surround... ok i can cover most of that up with the surround plate... then the too and frowing of the hu pulled the ariel lead out the back... so off with the back of the hu .. sorted that ad tested before i put back together... when the unit was back together i pluged it in and pop... 8 fuses late.. and i gave in

i am so pissed off... a broken HU a knackered stereo surround!!!!! so if you are breaking a 06 impreza let me know i need you stereo facia.... And dont buy this stereo it doesnt fit the double din slot in the 06 impreza....

lol

Re: REPLACEMENT DOUBLE DIN

it doesn't look like a fantastic make so i'd guess that a bit of making it fit was in order. What fuse rating is it?

Re: REPLACEMENT DOUBLE DIN

nah it aint that fantastic but i had a single din one in an older car and couldnt fault it for what it cost... jsut a bit pissed i have haked up my stereo surround.... reading over tinternet alot of double din hu dont fit.... i would have thought someone would have released a total face plate that would accept double dins for this car...

the fuse rating is 10amps... it started blowing after i took it apart and putit back together to sort the ariel.....

Re: REPLACEMENT DOUBLE DIN

was just a thought...they tend to do most din adapters....just to give you an idea. Never seen the inside of a hawk eye....well apart from the police one around here...but that wasn't very standard on the dash
