Car Audio Direct for car stereo, navigation and audiovisual electronics.

Couple of links there to look at, brands wise depends how much you want to spend really, stereo wise werent bothered much with the scooby ive done it with other cars, lol my 4 speakers and headunit only came to 200
(been the first car ive never had amps/subs in)other than runabouts.

Ive got boston accoustic 2ways in the front of my classic (5.25in) and alpine 6x9`s in the back shelf but were bought more based on price than anything at the time-still fine though 5yr on-if im honest though could do with a 4 channel amp(which ive been gettin for about 4.5yr )

Re: my56 wrx speakers

That link says front door speakers on a MY04 are 6.25", I thought it was well established that 5.25" are used for the fronts of basically every impreza?

Re: my56 wrx speakers

I'm not shooting, honest!

Just that I was going to order some new speakers and was sure they were 5.25"

Guess I'll have to have a door card off and check.

Re: my56 wrx speakers

ok found some 4' in my shed alpine i had bought for my old car and never used..... they where far to small... bout an inch... the space or cavity is 4 inch ....... is the speaker size given the size of the entire speacker or the driver part..... cause the box says 4' which is the total circumrance of the speaker and the braket around it.. not the driver itself....

this leads me to belive the rears on my 56 wrx will take a 5.25 speaker.... if 5.25 is the total circumfrance including the bracket....which is good cause 4' speakers will sound naff...

So what is the front speaker size......

Looks like the door aperture is 5.25" but you can get a bigger cone in there because the spacer is holding it off the max diameter.
