PIAA lights for Blobeye Sti

I have got hold of some driving lamps and bezels from a WR1 for my 2005 Blobeye Sti.

The lights themselves just fit on no problem at all, but does anyone know whether the wiring is in place, in case you want to add them as an extra - or do I have to start from scratch with the wiring?

If I do have to start from scratch, has anyone done this before who can point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Tim

Re: PIAA lights for Blobeye Sti

Yeah thanks, I did. Rather than fogs, the lights from the WR1 are driving lamps. So they should be able to be switched on and off with a switch and when they are on they should only operate on main beam.

Good news so far - today I discovered that the wiring IS on the loom. The tails with the correct connector were taped up out of sight.

When I have a bit more time over the next few days I'll start digging about behind the dash.

I already have a slight problem there though. In Japan there is no requirement for cars to have a rear fog light as there is in the UK. So all JDM imports are modified to comply with UK regulations and they chose to put the rear fog light switch in the only remaining switch hole in the dash. The JDM models already have 2 of the 3 switch holes filled with the Auto Water spray switch and the manual Water spray switch. I guess if the wiring for the spots/fogs IS behind the dash, I am going to have to move the rear fog switch to the centre console.

Once I am done, I will take pictures and post here.
