problem

when driving the other day my dump valve hose got melted and melted some of the other intercooler dump valve and turbo hoses since then its misfiring running rough and the check engine light has come on the dash have i got big problems???

If the CEL is on then first thing you need to do is run a diagnostic and see what codes it throws up, that should give you an idea of what you need to be looking at.

This link describes the method for running hte test on a classic.

ECU Reset... How many different methods are there???

cheers mate just looked into them pages big help i will fix the hoses i suspect then reset the ecu and see what happens cheers
