Changing Fog lights to Spots?

How easy is it to replace the front fog lights with decent spots of the same size then wire them into the main beam?

What is available at a sensible price?

Re: Changing Fog lights to Spots?

Think the legal requirement for spots doesn't allow you to mount them in the foglight holes. Be worth checking out first

Re: Changing Fog lights to Spots?

I'm not really phased if its illegal or not, Im in Australia, and im frequently driving between country townships at 9-10 oclock at night, our native animals being so damn big, its highly unsafe to not have driving lights, and making these trips almost makes me shit myself, even with highbeams. however, i do NOT want to ruin the look of my 2001 subie, and i dont really care about the law if its going to save me my car.

So please, two questions,
Will the lights be effective from such a low angle?
and is it actually possible?

thanks guys,
