eletrical problem...?

recently put a new battery on my car and its started playin up..id be driving along and it would suddenly cut out engine managemet light would flash for a split secound then be fine..after a couple of days it stopped starting..so when it finaly started again took it to a friends garage and thought the fuel pump was at fault changed the fuel pump then plugs then was told it was the fuel pump controller..bought one of these but still doin the same..had it on the diagnostic machine and wasnt showin any faults..today i was goin to a appointment and it died again .im thinkin it could be the immoboliser?..can any one help PLEASE....thanks mike

Check your earth straps/connections are tight

done that..someones sayin cam shaft sensor would this affect the fuel pump..because i cant hear the pump when i turn the ignition on

when you turn the key round to pre-ignition you should hear the fuel pump prime, kind of a whine noise.

alrite tidgy..yes theres no noise from the pump..i no it will start once i hear the pump wine..its just theres no noise from it when it does the none starting thing..

already changed the fuel pump and fuel pump controller..

have u got 12v at the pump wiring under the rear seat ?

a hour with a voltage tester will find it, you say you have 12v at the rear(think) but your not hearing a pump start, well that says fuel pump.

its gettin picked up monday..and gettin it looked at by a auto electrician..hopefully he can tell me whats wrong with it..finnaly get it back on the road...i do miss her so...thanks mike
