Meguires NXT tech wax

I know you guys have access to some really nice car wax products over there, but if you are ever looking for a slightly cheaper alternative the Meguires NXT tech wax is really awesome! My brother and I used it this weekend on both of our cars and we are very happy with the results. 8)

It is their newest car wax and it has these polymers that remove the old wax build up and form a new bond with the paint. It came off very easily without all the hard scrubbing that is necessary with a lot of other waxes (we don't have a buffing machine). And it left the paint looking very glossy and smooth, better than anything I have used before.

We also got this cool spray bottle of NXT wax that you can use in between car washes to keep the protectant layer on the paint. I will let you all know how that works after a couple car washes.

It was $15.00 US for a bottle of the wax, and the spray was about $7.00. Not bad at all is it?! So you can't get Meguiars products over there? That's a shame, this stuff works awesome.

It really is much cheaper over here. I bet it would be less expensive to buy the wax from the US company and just have it shipped over to you. I wonder what the shipping would cost?

Let me know if you decide to order some.

I think that US company didnt ship to the uk but i'll have a look and and some up. Glilly paid $12 to get the sticks over here and that was in a big box! So i guess it would be under 10 bucks (buks, hey see that  )

^^^ That would be cool David B, hopefully you guys can get some samples and check it out. I couldn't be happier with the results. I was looking around my garage last night and I realized how many Meguiars products I have, they make some great stuff! Their tire protectant is awesome.

I will see how good the wax holds up in the next couple days, it's supposed to rain here for the rest of the week.

And Gareth, I'm proud of you, you said bucks! You will be talkin like an American in no time flat! j/k :P

I was tempted to try the NXT Tech Wax from Maguiars. I already use their Soft Wash Gel, Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner, Quick Clay and Cleaner Liquid Wax.

All are excellent. I was an Autoglym man until I tried Maguiar's

I always found the super resin left a residue (sp) and if left on too long was a pig to get off. Don't get me wrong it was a great finish BUT after using Maguiars I realised how much work Autoglym was.

Maguiars range is so much bigger/better as well..... price wise no difference

Zymol is suposed to be very good as well. But not tried it.....

Will this stuff be good for the dull effect in the cockpit? the old scoob was great to polish and make sparkle but the dash in the new one is a dull effect and doesnt like to be autoglymed.. do you know what i mean?
