Unlikely, I only ever hopped on the train one stop to Iko-Ishida, then got the Nissan bus from there to the office. It's the big one that has a Dr. Evil style tunnel through the mountain to get up to it. Kinda weird that I worked there for three months and don't actually know where it is. Maybe I was subjected to brainwashing before I left?

Often drive past Atsugi on Route 246 when on way to Fuji area or Hakone. you ever head into Machida on your nights out?
Yeah, I used to go to the cinema in Machida and have dinner at the Outback Steakhouse when I fancied a change from Japanese food. Weekends it was either Tokyo or out to Hakone Yamoto, Enoshima etc.

What keeps you out in Japan?

Re: Clay Virgin

Outback steakhouse is at Granberry mall right? Go there for all my Shimano stuff as they have last years XTR range cheap.

No ,more Cinemas in Machida as the Multiplexes put them out of business.

Good for a night out though. I live in central Machida. Nights out in Hakone Yumoto? My nights out there consist of a bit of lairy driving.

Still here coz wifes Japanese but heading back home as soon as weve got enough cash in the bank so hopefully next year fingers crossed.

I guess so, the one that's straight off the train? I didn't venture any further than that, not knowing if there was anything beyond worth investigating.

It was the Multiplex at the mall that I used to go to. The one at the far end (if you're coming from the train station). Had a sort of funky pet accessories place next door and a video arcade just opposite.

Ha! No nights out in Hakone, just went walking there in the daytime to see the sights. It was a bit difficult as I was on my own so didn't really have a guide to tell me what and where was worth seeing. Did have a good night out in Shibuya with some French guys I was working with, most of the time we just stuck local.

I think this chap was somewhere in Hakone.

Stay there. The whole place is going to sh*t here.

Re: Clay Virgin

You only saw Minami Machida. 2 steps (literally) from Yokohama. Back end of nowhere basically. Machida centre is very cool. It's basically like a small Shibuya with plenty of bars, Izakayas etc. If you ever get sent this way again definitely check it out.

Met plenty of French Nissan engineers in Machida out on the beers. Didn't have much good to say about their Japanese counterparts mind.
