Looks Awesome as ever Dave.
![]() Still loving the Blackfire, but that shine you've got there certainly gives food for thought. Gonna be claying mine over the summer as there is so much gunk on it thanks to rainy season (still another 2 weeks to go ). Plus a load of crap has built up under the rear wing so will have that off. Be a different car once I've got time (over the summer taking a few days off especially) to really give it the clean/polish/wax it really deserves. |

On a lighter colour car like yours wayne i`d be tempted to try p21s concours carnauba wax on top of the blackfire, they both give a simular type of shine, ive never tried it so cant give an example-would be curious to see results should you ever try it though.
Goin to wax mine again wednesday then go over with blackfire again at the wkend-will post pics- ive done the sealant over wax thing before and contrary to what ppl say it does have an effect on your finish in my experience-mines still not as shiny as it has been before at the moment.

Detailing Clay : Starters' Guide - Detailing World
in a answer, will probably be a learning curve the first few times ya use it as you have to change the area in contact with the car fairly regular to avoid the bits out ya paint scratching your car once in the clay, check the clay regularly and rinse with the quick detailer or clay lube if ya cant remove from the clay just fold it over on itself so theres a fresh piece in contact with the car. Will probably take ya 2 goes to figure out whats the best amount of quick detailer to use.I tend to spray just in front of where im doing all the time i never spray the whole panel then clay as ya tend to use more of the quick detailer ,i just spray about a square foot before i start, to be honest ive only done mine twice this yr. Ya want the clay to glide freely enough that it dont grip ya paint and stop all of a sudden but be enough friction there to pull the crap out ya paint-ya do get used to it-its a bit of a pain but not too bad-worth it after though-basically if ya can feel any bits sticking proud in ya paint it needs claying.
