Hope ppl do realise the pics ARE for the results not for just posing value, at the end of the day im just hoping to save you all money by wasting mine pmsl
![]() ![]() eg: by making a donation of approx £10.95 for a bottle of poorboys u could keep a scooby in shine for approx 6mths(so long as u dont polish as often as me) Theres so many abused examples riding around caked in muck looking uncool/cool (delete as applicable to you) Its our/my intention here at I.A.A.P.S. to save a scooby in need and give examples of how they shd be cared for so others can be treated likewise-remember scoobys are for polishing not just for washing!!!!! This was a public service announcement bought to you by uk dave, Thanks for reading. ![]() Last edited by uk dave; 30 Dec 2006 at 08:49 PM. |

![]() i have seen a few results a while ago of poorboys polish with carnauba (blue) and it looked very nice and when it rained i loved the effect of the water turning into beads (im guessing water doesnt get on ur car though lol). looking forward to seeing the pics ![]() |

Its weird mate as for the beadind off wax is best for that it literally repells water, polishes and sealants just create small droplets on the bodywork though a waxed surface usually aint as smooth to touch as a polished one the next time youve washed it-i find with poorboys for instance the cars easier to wash time and time again whereas when ive used p21s its really smooth at the time and looks amazing but weeks after goes a bit rough and makes the finish harder to leather off(goes for other waxes ive used too) than regular-ish use with poorboys.
Currently trying to knock the selection ive got down to- poorboys polish with carnauba (blue)£9.95 std size bottle £14.95 for twice as much (bargain if its good) Nearly used all my EX-jury really is out at the mo .....used it last wk an didnt think my scoobs loooked that sweet did it today an it looks amazing so a couple of layers really made a difference, however you can start to lose shine by too much of a build up(reflection in paint goes hazy) hence i were trying not to buy any more and rule it out of the equation and also why i cut it back now and again with either a paintwork cleanser or glaze. In an ideal scenario im looking at either the std poorboys polish with 100% carnauba or the blue above and a tub of p21s concours carnauba wax (Around £20) as my whole collection for the paintwork anyway,i like the mothers stuff i used ages ago but you use too much and think it ought to be cheaper. Bottom line is both the poorboys polish with carnauba and the p21s are so easy to apply and rub off (though the poorboys can be dusty sometimes) i use autoglym cotton cloths or any cotton stockinette stuff from car shops to rub the poorboys off and poorboys mega plush microfibre cloths for the p21s and apply both with meguiars foam applicators. Also find both these products amazing value for the finish they give.Gonna try to wax it every couple of month an polish once a fortnight (weather permitting)loads less than its been done at times this yr. yer i know i really need a girlfriend pmsl ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glad you liked the earlier post folks ![]() |

Peter your a proper blatant opputunist salesman ya know
![]() ![]() ........though dont blame ya im still struggling to beat the stuff with anything else. ![]() I havent ended up using the blue today as it "looked" like rain when i started so threw some p21s at it as if it rains when im half way through i know i can get away with lightly leathering the water off and buffing up..............................guess what it didnt rain ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
