models overview

What might be nice on this site is to have a page where you have the different modelyears with their characteristics (performance, equipment, improvements over former modelyear, etc) and then maybe some pics.

It would help to "picture" more easily what people are talking about when they mention a certain type of scoob.

A bit like the photogallery in fact, but then with some official pics and some explanation about the car.

Yes, but really a summary.

Nobody feels like reading an entire pdf-file of marketing gobbledygook.

It should be something that can give less informed people a quick view of what a certain model is.

A simple description of engine, performance and key features/changes compared to earlier models could suffice.
Plus something on the special versions such as the P1, UK300, WR1, etc. as especially those are very popular with scooby fans but generally completely unknown to non-initiated.

Perhaps we could all do one on the car we own. When it was STD of course. Is this the type of thing you have in mind?

Well, I am also working on a file for a Belgian magazine called AutoNews.

To celebrate the 10-th anniversary of the first impreza world title with McRae, we wanted to get a file together with all small articles around the evolution of the rallycar and the roadcar during these years, get a report on what it's like to actually run such a performance car on day-to-day basis etc.

I should be able to get something together on how the roadcars evolved.

No promises for Short term yet however. I'm juggling two jobs at the time plus that bit :nightmare

Need to get my act together. And working out in Singapore and US 3/4 of the time doesn;t always help.

Will check it out over the weekend and come back to you. If I don't... chase me ! (I can be very off-minded sometimes ops)
