Over the last couple of months, I have noticed that there have been a considerable amount of newbies on this site, but it seems to be getting quieter. No-one uses the chatroom and the threads don't seem to be responded to as much as they should be.
Is it me, or am i right? Scotty.

Also worth bearing in mind that you have to be a member to get access to the technical sections, once people have done their search or had a query answered, they move on, hence the high number of new members with few or no posts.
As for responding to posts, I'll answer where i can, but i won't touch those where i can't answer with any authority. And that's as it should be. |

yeah i agree with that too. i really only found the site because i was looking for some advice. i guess that out of all of ther newbies that come along, there will be a percentage that stay and contribute to the discussions on the forums |

as a NEWBIE i can say i had never heard of the site before.i was having a problem with the alarm on a newly aquired scooby.
i had done a few searches on google and found a thread which led me to the site.as i have only been a member for a few weeks i find myself forgetting about it ,but when i remember to come back on i find the answers good and the craic is usually good too.i got the answer i needed for my alarm problem fast keep it up !!!!!! think we need some sort of advertising links or a way of drawing in new members.just think people don't know we are here or they would also be here cos we all love scoobies. it isn't that we are getting rid of the scoobies--are we? NO WAY the scooby is here to stay... ![]() Last edited by xrwazerpmi; 08 Oct 2007 at 12:08 PM. |

Cant remember how i got here to be honest, think gareth posted a link on a site i were on at the time(so blame him for me being here)its never been a really busy site/forum (though could do with a few more females tbh)however theres only ever been one person ive had lets just say differences of opinion with whilst ive been here, gareth and both petes do a good job of answering questions as far as i can see(and gareth a great job of running it)-suppose youve gotta realise ya cant be here 24hrs a day.
This is just one of many forums i go on so somedays just come on check new posts if nothing interests me or i cant help anyone im off.Guess a few other folks are the same. Maybe not enough times being put into new threads by everyone-who knows? |
