Re: WHAT BRAKE DISCS

Just good quality standard discs if for a road car. Change pads to ferrodo ds2500, groodridge braided hose and dot 5.1 brake fluid is what most people will tell you.

If you have 17" wheels or over you could really make a big difference by getting oversized discs. Try here.... Subaru Impreza 335mm Brake Upgrade Kit - Using Mintex 1144 or Ferodo DS2500 Pads . Ian Godney has a small workshop in S.Wales and Rallies an Impreza. If i had a classic this is the route i would go. forget the rears if money is an issue just bulk up the fronts where 75% of the braking is done.

redstuff pads are not good for road use from my experience. and grooved only, not drilled
