When Poxy's maf's went pop he was lucky really as the car came to a stop and would not run. The problem lies when the maf is only playing up and you start to run rich or weak...

Most the top stand alone ECU's do away with the MAF and use MAP. I had aultronic and Poxy went with Motec.
Poxy's first Maf went when a car came of track in front of him throwing up a dust cloud that Paul drove through. Induction kit just let to many particles through and shot blasted the maf. Second was down to vibration...Induction kit at fault again... Poxy did have the MY99 MAF so did expect troubles.
