I have nver been unlucky enough, tounch wood (pats head

) to have a maf sensor fail on my my00 uk turbo.

so a question for all you technical bods out there,
1:to prevent failure is it worth removing the maf and replacing with some other form of system to do the same thing?
2:is it cost prohibative?
3:what would it entail?
